America is About to Get More Change Than it is Bargaining for

With Ohio going to Obama, it looks that McCain has lost the Presidential Election.

Obama ran as a moderate, but anyone who has paid attention knows this is simply not true.

He is going to raise taxes. He is going to significantly increase government spending. He is going to support the Fairness Doctrine and wipe Conservative Talk Radio off the map. He is going to support Card Check, which will allow unions to "persuade" people to join because there will be no secret ballots to unionize. He is going to pass universal health care which will be become government-run health care before long. He will bankrupt the coal industry and cause energy prices to sky rocket. He will do nothing to slow our importation of foreign oil.

Unless Obama acts completely unlike his record indicates, he will be the next Jimmy Carter. And maybe that is the only silver lining for Republicans. If he is as bad as it looks like he will be, he will serve only one term and also help Republicans regain control of Congress. We're in for a very bumpy ride for the next four years. Hopefully, Obama doesn't do lasting damage to the country before he leaves.

I've been saying it for months. It's 1976 all over again. People voted for Obama for two reasons:

1) To have the first black President that was actually black.

2) Change for the sake of change.

Neither of those is a good reason to choose a leader. This will come back to bite a little more than 50% of the people in the ass when they can't figure out why they are working harder for less money.
